Ashley J. Knit & Crochet

Based in New York’s Hudson Valley, Ashley has been crocheting and knitting for over 20 years. A lifelong lover of all things Halloween and horror, she has combined her passion for fiber arts with her love of the spooky season to create unique, handcrafted pieces that celebrate the darker side of creativity.

Her specialty is her Horror Buddies collection, featuring iconic slashers and fan favorites—from horror legends like Michael Myers and Freddy Krueger to modern terrors like Sam and Art the Clown. She also creates her popular Killer Bees, cozy handmade beanies, and other one-of-a-kind crocheted creations that are perfect for horror lovers and Halloween enthusiasts alike.

When she’s not surrounded by yarn, Ashley is usually dreaming up her next creepy creation. Her handmade work is available on Etsy, and her latest creations can be found on Instagram.

Ashley is thrilled to be joining the Catskill Halloween Festival as a vendor this year and looks forward to meeting fellow horror fans, sharing her handmade creations, and helping visitors add a little handmade horror to their collections. Be sure to stop by her booth… if you dare!

Here are some thoughts straight from her:

Hi, everyone! I’m a fiber artist from New York’s Hudson Valley, and I’ve been crocheting and knitting for over 20 years. As a lifelong lover of all things Halloween and horror, I decided to combine my passion for fiber arts with my obsession with the spooky season to create handmade pieces that celebrate the darker side of creativity.

My specialty is my Horror Buddies collection, featuring iconic slashers and fan favorites—from horror legends like Michael Myers and Freddy Krueger to modern terrors like Sam and Art the Clown. I also create my popular Killer Bees, cozy handmade beanies, and other unique crocheted creations that are perfect for horror lovers and Halloween enthusiasts alike.

When I’m not covered in yarn, you’ll usually find me dreaming up my next creepy creation. You can browse my shop on Etsy and follow along on Instagram to see what I’m working on next.

I’m beyond excited to be joining the Catskill Halloween Festival as a vendor this year. I can’t wait to meet fellow horror fans, share my creations, and help bring a little handmade horror to your collection. Stop by and say hello… if you dare!
