Founded in 2021 by Robin Jay of Gem Radio Theatre (a group reviving classic radio plays with live performances), the Dancing Witches started as a fun, pandemic-inspired spin on traditional broom-shaking dances (inspired by the Wolfshager Hexenbrut). What began small has grown into a beloved regional tradition: a troupe of 17+ witches (plus one warlock) in full costume, performing lively, choreographed dances set to music to spread messages of peace, love, and healing while embracing the macabre fun of the season.
